How it all began..
In 2014 Mark wanted to move his love for home brewing into a commercial reality. Mark and his wife Alison then set up a microbrewery in Glasgow. Jaw Brew was born! The beers were well received and a strong trade was built up. The team attended various events to showcase Jaw Brew beer and learned more about the drinks trade in the process. There was an abundance of breweries but Mark knew that his brand had an edge and was built upon his love for brewing.
Mark and Alison Hazell met in their early 20’s in London
Alison is from Glasgow and Mark is from the Isles
Mark worked in IT and Alison as a Chartered Surveyor
They married and lived in Munich together
They then moved to Scotland with their young sons and settled in their dream house called ‘The Jaw’
'The Jaw', is a 300-year-old miller’s cottage nestling on the shores of Bardowie Loch
